JUST read this and the one before. I know ...Tiss,

JUST read this and the one before. I know we talked a bit, but I've been so wrapped up in my own fun stuff that reading stuff in facebook has been at best glancing, and small comments. I'm so sorry you've inherited the family "gift". It shocked the hell out of me too. There have been days I was sure I should have been committed. But here I am, still surviving, and you will too! Just a little piece of info, the scripture reference says we will never be TEMPTED beyond our ability to bear, it's one of the most misquoted things in our church...in actuality we are to be given trials that ARE too hard..... WITHOUT Him. That's what keeps us turning to him. Alma 13:28
These trials are unfortunately necessary. If we want to return home, and be in the presence of God, Jesus, Joseph Smith, Abraham, etc. How can we ever feel worthy of being there if we have not been tried as they? Stinks, I know. Chemical imbalances stink. But you are doing everything right, and you just need to keep doing it.
Here's one of my favorite quotes...
“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed.
“The fact is most putts don’t drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. …
“Life is like an old-time rail journey—delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.
“The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride”
- Pres. Hinckley

You are amazing, beautiful and strong Tiss, and you will be okay. There were times I just wanted to go to sleep and never wake up ever again, but after each episode, I emerge stronger, wiser, and more able to deal. Just remember what
is really important, and it's not what any of those voices are telling you. I LOVE YOU!!!
Aunt Val
Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391609301954200683noreply@blogger.com
